The Bill and Betsy Scheben Care Center, part of The Point/Arc of Northern Kentucky family dedicated to the mission of helping adults with disabilities maintain their ability to function in the home and the community. We also provide respite for families and caregivers to reduce the physical, emotional and financial stress experienced during long-term care.
We want to help our clients achieve lifetime abilities. We do this by providing excellent medical rehabilitative services to meet the individual needs of each of our clients.
Our Center serves persons over 16 years of age who have medical, physical, social, and/or cognitive disabilities. Our service area includes Northern Kentucky and the surrounding counties. Hours of operation for the Adult Day Care are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. We also offer Medicaid Transportation services to not only our facility, but to a number of other facilities in Northern Kentucky. For more information regarding transportation services, please contact Kym Hodge at khodge@csadultday.org.

Mission
Our mission is to provide a daily program of community based activities, supportive person centered health care and support for the attainment of individualized personal goals and choices to medically compromised and/or differently abled younger adults and the elderly. Thereby improving their quality of life and assist individuals so that they remain connected to their natural support networks. Our goal is to empower the disabled and elderly to self-advocate, assist them with making informed decisions, participate in their community, pursue personal growth and independence and exercise their right to have choices in everyday life regarding community inclusion, employment and privacy.

Adult Day Care
Program Aide
The Bill & Betsy Scheben Care Center is hiring a part time Program Aide for our medical model Adult Day Care. Must have CPR and First Aid Certification. Must have previous experience working with elderly and/or disabled adults. Completion of SCL Phase I, Phase II and Crisis Training and medication administration a plus. Hours will include minimal Saturday rotation for our Respite program. No evenings or holidays. All candidates must pass an extensive criminal background check and drug testing.
Our Center has been providing services to the residents of Northern Kentucky since 1923.

Our Goals
Adult Day Care has three major goals:
- To provide daytime nursing care and supervised activity based on rehabilitation principles to medically compromised and/or disabled adults in order to maintain their ability to function in the home and community
- To provide respite for families/caregivers in order to reduce the physical, emotional and financial stress experienced during long-term care
- To prevent unnecessary or premature institutionalization of persons appropriate for the intermediate level of nursing home care.
The program operates in compliance with the standards recommended by the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) and the licensing regulations of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Transportation
The Bill & Betsy Scheben Care Center is hiring for a part time handicap accessible bus driver. CDL not required. Split Shift, morning & afternoon, M-F, no holidays or weekends. Previous experience a plus, CPR/First Aid a plus.
National criminal background check required, Driving Record check required, Drug testing required
